A house collapse in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir has left one person dead and another injured. The incident occurred in ward number one of Pattangarh Panchayat.
Police have confirmed the incident and say that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the collapse. This is not the first time that a house collapse has occurred in Jammu and Kashmir.
In May of this year, three members of a family were killed when their house collapsed due to heavy rain and hailstorms. In April, over 30 women were injured when a house collapsed in Poonch district.
