Two Indian Army soldiers were injured, one of them seriously, after a tree fell on their moving truck in Banihal area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning.
The incident took place near Nachilana on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. The truck was carrying the soldiers to their destination when the tree fell on it.
The two injured soldiers, including the driver, were immediately taken to a hospital at a nearby army camp for treatment. The condition of the seriously injured soldier is said to be critical.
An official investigation has been launched into the incident.
