Security forces apprehended two suspected terror associates in Lower Munda, Qazigund, in the Kulgam district of South Kashmir. During a routine vehicle checkpoint at Gulab Bagh near Lower Munda, the forces intercepted and arrested the individuals.
A subsequent search of the suspects led to the recovery of a significant cache of arms and ammunition, including:
- Two AK-47 rifles
- Four magazines
- A quantity of ammunition
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
- Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, son of Rashid Bhat, resident of Nipora
- Altaf Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Ahad Lone, resident of Teesan Kachpora Zadoora
A formal case has been registered, and further investigations are currently underway.
