Sopore Police, in its ongoing mission to rid the society of drugs, apprehended two drug dealers and seized a significant quantity of prohibited substances.
A police team led by Inspector Ayaz Gellani, SHO of Police Station Sopore, and under the supervision of SDPO Sopore, Sarfaraz Bashir, intercepted two individuals identified as Nazir Ahmad Shah (alias Bedana) and Nasir Yousuf Shah (alias Bada Anta), both residents of Neharpora Sopore, during a routine patrol in the area.
Upon searching the suspects, the police recovered 264 capsules of the banned drug Spasmoproxyvon Plus.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law at Police Station Sopore, and an investigation is underway.
Sopore Police urges the public to actively participate in combating drug-related crimes by reporting any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or by dialing 112. The police assures the community of strict action against criminals as per the law.
