Udhampur Police have detained two female terror associates under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for activities threatening state security. The accused, Maryama Begum of Loudhara, Basantgarh, and Arshad Begum of Rai Chak, Basantgarh, were involved in providing logistical support and acting as guides for terrorist organizations.
Their actions posed a serious risk to public safety and tranquility, prompting authorities to detain them under the PSA to prevent further criminal activities.
