A young man in Anantnag district, South Kashmir, lost his life in a stabbing incident late Sunday night.
Reports indicate that a 15-year-old boy was discovered bleeding in a drainage canal. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later referred to GMC Anantnag. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Initial reports suggest the altercation stemmed from a minor scuffle with another youth.
Police from Srigufwara reached the hospital to complete necessary legal procedures and take possession of the body. After completing formalities, the body was handed back to the family. An investigation into the incident is underway.
