Jammu, Dec 20: Yudhvir Sethi, BJP leader and MLA of Jammu East, today inaugurated a three-day artificial limbs camp organized by Shree Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic at Brahman Sabha Parade, Jammu.
The MLA was warmly welcomed by Keemti Lal Jain, Chairman of the Clinic; Vinod Jain, President of Shri Atmanand Jain Sabha Jammu; Vishwamitra Jain, Sangrakshak of the Sabha; along with Pritul Jain, Praveen Seth, Deepak Jain, Dimple Jain, Devinder Jain, Sunil Jain, Kimti Jain, and other dignitaries. Prominent attendees included Anil Masoom, Vice President District Jammu; Parveen Kerni, Mandal President; Arun Sethi, East Mandal General Secretary; Divya Jain, President BJP South Mahila Morcha; and renowned doctor Dr. Aneeta Gupta, who has been providing free medical services for over 38 years.
During the camp, a total of 212 patients were provided assistance for various issues. Among the aids distributed were 67 lower limbs, 42 callipers, 12 hands, 13 tricycles, 8 wheelchairs, and 38 hearing aids to deserving individuals.
Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi lauded the efforts of the organizing committee for conducting monthly artificial limb camps over the past 38 years. He emphasized that these camps have been instrumental in providing Jaipur foot, callipers, and other necessary aids to specially-abled individuals free of cost. He praised the Jain community for their exemplary service to humanity through these camps and expressed his best wishes for their future endeavors. He assured the organization of his full cooperation at all times.
“This initiative showcases the true spirit of humanity, serving the underprivileged and differently-abled individuals with compassion. I commend the efforts of Shree Atam Vallabh Jain Clinic and all the organizations involved in this noble cause. I encourage the people of Jammu to support such initiatives, dedicated to the welfare of those in need,” Sethi remarked.
Pradeep Jain, General Secretary of the organization, shared that this was the 448th camp organized by the clinic, which has been serving the community from Fattu Chogan, Jammu, for the last 38 years. He reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to continuing such efforts in the future.
In the end, Keemti Lal Jain, Chairman of the Clinic, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Yudhvir Sethi and the audience for their support and participation.
