Yudhvir Sethi starts Rs 2 Cr blacktopping work on flyover

JAMMU, Aug 6: In a major push towards enhancing urban infrastructure in Jammu, Senior BJP leader and MLA from Jammu East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi, today inaugurated the blacktopping work on the Flyover starting from Brigadier Rajinder Singh Chowk in Jammu East Constituency.
The project, estimated at a cost of approximately Rs 2 crore, is being executed under the supervision of the Public Works Department (PWD). Present during the start of work were BJP spokesperson for Jammu District, Raman Sharma, AEE Neeraj Chopra, PWD officials, and BJP Karyakartas.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said, “This project marks a significant step towards improving the aesthetic and functional quality of civic infrastructure in our Constituency. With the support of the PWD, the flyover will soon present a new and impressive look, benefiting thousands of commuters daily.” He expressed thanks to the PWD officers for their cooperation in this project.
Sethi emphasized that Jammu East, being a key gateway and commercial hub, deserves well-maintained infrastructure to ensure smooth traffic flow and a better urban experience for both residents and visitors. He said this project not only includes blacktopping but also focuses on overall beautification, which will include signage and aesthetic enhancements.
The MLA also reiterated his commitment to the continuous development of Jammu East Constituency, highlighting several ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at improving connectivity, sanitation, and civic services.
Yudhvir Sethi assured the public that he is committed to delivering on its promises and will continue to work for a modern, clean, and efficient Jammu old city.
The project is expected to be completed in a time-bound manner, ensuring minimal inconvenience to the public during execution.
