Shopian: Police Seize Drugs, Cash in Home Raids

In a major crackdown on drugs, the Shopian Police recovered a significant amount of illegal substances and cash from two residences in Melhura village.

While the suspects managed to escape, police have launched a manhunt and registered separate cases against them. The community is urged to report any suspicious activity related to drug peddling or other crimes by contacting their nearest police station or dialing the emergency number 112.

The Shopian Police remain committed to combating drug trafficking and appreciate public cooperation in eradicating this menace from society. They assure residents that those involved in criminal activities will face the full force of the law.
