Suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the security forces near Azad Gunj bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
A senior police officer told news agency that militants attacked an Army convoy with a grenade. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, leaving six civilians wounded.
He said the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
