224-Meter Viaduct Completed on Jammu-Srinagar Highway: Nitin Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the completion of a new 224-meter viaduct in Jammu and Kashmir. The viaduct is part of a larger infrastructure project on the Ramban to Banihal section of NH-44.

The viaduct reduces the travel distance by 125 meters and avoids the need for a steep cutting through the hillside. It also makes it easier for vehicles to pass through the challenging terrain of the Sherebibi Area.

The project is expected to boost the region’s economy and make it more connected.
