Traffic on the Mughal Road, a historic thoroughfare connecting the Kashmir Valley with the Jammu region, has been suspended following fresh snowfall in the Pir Ki Gali area.
DySP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch, Nawaz Choudhary, told that the snowfall and slippery conditions on the road have made it unsafe for vehicular movement. He added that traffic will resume once the weather conditions improve.
Travelers are advised to check the traffic status before planning a journey on the Mughal Road, especially during the winter months when snowfall is common.
