A restaurant employee was injured in a fire at a restaurant on the Jammu-Pathankot highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district early Monday.
The fire broke out at the restaurant while the employee, identified as 35-year-old Mohammad Aslam, was sleeping. He was rescued by other employees and rushed to a hospital, where he is being treated for burns.
The fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
