India Will Not Tolerate Any “Nuclear blackmail”: PM Modi

“Following Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, asserting India’s firm stance against any form of nuclear coercion. He declared that while military operations against Pakistan have been temporarily suspended, their resumption is contingent upon Pakistan’s future conduct.

The Prime Minister recounted Pakistan’s appeals for cessation of the offensive, stating that India agreed only after receiving assurances of an end to their hostile actions. He characterized the Pahalgam attack as an act of ‘barbaric terrorism,’ expressing personal grief and emphasizing that the perpetrators have now experienced the repercussions of their actions.

Modi explained that Operation Sindoor was a demonstration of India’s resolute action, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists. He stated, ‘India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. We have only kept in abeyance our operations against Pakistan; the future will depend on their behaviour. Operation Sindoor represents a new Indian policy against terrorism, establishing a clear red line.'”
