Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
He emphasized that this auspicious occasion glorifies the spirit of sacrifice and unwavering faith in the Almighty. Choudhary highlighted how Eid-ul-Azha inspires humanity to foster unity through love, compassion, and kind deeds, ultimately promoting brotherhood and social harmony.
Describing Eid-ul-Azha, also known as Bakrid, as a sacred celebration, the Deputy Chief Minister noted that it renews the remembrance of sacrifice, patience, and surrender to the divine. He also commended the festival for fostering brotherhood and exemplifying the noble act of sharing with the less fortunate. Choudhary expressed his hope that the festival’s message would strengthen unity, harmony, and a spirit of selflessness within society.
The Deputy Chief Minister concluded by praying for mutual brotherhood, amity, and communal harmony, wishing for peace, well-being, and prosperity for all the people across the region.
