The University of Kashmir (KU) has achieved a significant academic milestone, securing the prestigious A++ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its latest re-accreditation cycle. This remarkable accomplishment positions KU among the nation’s top-ranking institutions and marks a moment of immense pride for higher education in Jammu & Kashmir.
KU is the first higher educational institution in Jammu & Kashmir to be evaluated under NAAC’s revised and more rigorous accreditation framework. The university achieved an exceptional Institutional Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.68, its highest ever, surpassing many leading universities across the country.
