On Tuesday, authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district carried out a significant anti-encroachment drive, demolishing nearly two dozen illegally built structures, including residential homes.
The operation took place in the Hiranagar sub-division, specifically at Chapaki Kalan in the Hiranagar sector. The joint effort by the civil and police administration successfully reclaimed two-and-a-half hectares of encroached land. Officials reported that the drive lasted for several hours and concluded peacefully without any untoward incidents.
