Samba Police, continuing its crackdown on drug-related crime, arrested a drug peddler in Ramgarh and seized approximately 1.6 kilograms of ganja.
Acting on a tip, officers from Ramgarh Police Station intercepted the suspect, identified as Amarish Kumar, near Swankha. Kumar, son of Shivnandan Singh, is a resident of Piparpanti Koila Khagaria, Bihar, and currently resides in Bari Brahmana.
He was arrested, and the contraband was seized. A case has been registered under FIR No. 42/2025, u/s 8/20 NDPS Act, at PS Ramgarh, and an investigation is underway.
