The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) RTI Movement is urging the government and the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to immediately reopen vital tourist spots in the Pir Panjal range: Doodpathri, Tosamaidan, Yousmarg, and Aharbal.
Dr. Shaikh Ghulam Rasool, Chairperson and Founder of the J&K RTI Movement, emphasized that these locations are crucial for the local economy, serving as the main source of income for thousands of families. He warned that with half of the summer season already gone, the ongoing closures are leading to severe financial hardship for these communities.
