In a move to boost project efficiency and coordination, the General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir has made it mandatory for all new or proposed infrastructure projects with civil costs of ₹20 crore and above to be mapped on the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) digital platform.
This directive, outlined in an official order, stems from the Minutes of the Meeting of the Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGOS) held on February 24, 2025. The primary goal is to foster integrated planning and improved synchronization in project implementation.
The order explicitly states, “In order to ensure efficiency and with a view to promote synchronization in project implementation through integrated planning and efficient coordination, it is hereby ordered that all Administrative Departments shall mandatorily map all new/proposed infrastructure projects with a civil cost of ₹20.00 Crore and above on the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) digital platform.”
