Terrorism Will Never Succeed: Farooq Abdullah On Elimination Of Pahalgam Attack Terrorists

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday stated that the elimination of the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack serves as a clear message that terrorism will ultimately fail.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event in Srinagar, the former chief minister remarked, “If they have been killed, it is a good thing. They have got a lesson that terrorism will never succeed.” He added that he hadn’t personally seen the perpetrators and could not identify them.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that three terrorists involved in the horrific Pahalgam massacre were eliminated by security forces in a joint operation near Srinagar. The operation, dubbed Operation Mahadev, was conducted on Monday by the Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Participating in a special discussion on Operation Sindoor, Shah identified the slain terrorists as Suleman alias Faizal, Afghani, and Jibran. He specified that Suleman and Afghani were A-category commanders of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, while Jibran was a notorious and wanted terrorist. “All three terrorists involved in the killing of our citizens at Baisaran valley in Pahalgam have now been eliminated,” Shah confirmed.
