Kathua Police Seize Drone-Dropped Narcotics

Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir – Police in Kathua district have recovered a packet containing 400 grams of narcotics believed to have been dropped by a drone from across the border.

The discovery was made on Tuesday evening in the Hiranagar area after local residents alerted authorities to a suspicious packet wrapped in willow cover. A joint operation by the police and Border Security Force (BSF) led to the recovery.

Following the find, extensive searches were conducted throughout the area to ensure no other items had been dropped. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered regarding the incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shobhit Saxena stated that vigilance is being maintained and search operations are ongoing.
