An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 struck Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 6:52 PM IST. The epicenter of the quake was located 215 km north of Ayodhya at a depth of 10 km. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that there were no reports of injuries or damage.
