A soldier, Javid Ahmad Wani, has gone missing from Asthal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district since Saturday evening. He was on leave since Eid-Ul-Azha and is posted in Leh, Ladakh.
Wani’s mother has appealed to one and all to allow her son to go back home. She said that her son is innocent and too young, and that she is seeking forgiveness if he has committed any wrong.
A senior police official said that a massive manhunt has been launched to trace the soldier.
