During the early hours of Saturday, vigilant security forces guarding the International Border (IB) in the Khour sector of Akhnoor successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt. Officials reported that a group of heavily-armed individuals attempted to cross the border illegally, prompting swift action from the troops.
Employing decisive tactics, the security forces engaged the infiltrators with effective fire, forcing them to retreat. Though one individual was reportedly struck during the exchange, their associates managed to drag the body back across the border.
