Following tradition, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met with President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday before unveiling the Union Budget for 2024-25. This pre-budget meeting took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India.
Sitharaman was accompanied by Ministers of State Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad and Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, along with senior finance ministry officials. The Rashtrapati Bhavan announced the meeting on their social media platform.
