Hot, Humid Weather Expected in J-K

The weather department in Jammu and Kashmir has forecast mainly hot, humid and dry conditions for the next 24 hours. However, there is a chance of a brief spell of rain at isolated places.
There was rain at isolated places in Jammu region on Monday, while the weather was partly cloudy in Ramban-Banihal and Kashmir valley.
The weather department said that rain may occur at isolated to scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir towards late afternoon and evening, although the chances are less.
On August 15, there is a possibility of early morning showers at some places of J&K. The weather is expected to be dry during the rest of the day.
There is no forecast of any major rainfall this week.
Srinagar had a low of 21.0°C on Monday, which was above normal by 2.7°C. Jammu district recorded a minimum of 23.6°C, which was 1.4°C below normal.
