Jammu, July 2, 2025 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces for ensuring excellent security as he flagged off the first group of pilgrims for the 45-day Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. The pilgrimage is set to begin on July 3rd.
LG Sinha also extended his congratulations to the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board for providing outstanding facilities for the devotees. Addressing reporters, he stated, “Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board has made excellent facilities for the Yatra. Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces have also maintained tight security. Devotees from all over the country are here. The enthusiasm is very high. The devotees of Bholenath have neglected all the terror attacks and have reached in huge numbers.” He expressed his optimism, adding, “I am hopeful that this year’s Yatra would be even better than the previous ones.”
