A fresh batch of pilgrims set off from the Pantha Chowk base camp in Srinagar on Saturday morning for the Amarnath Cave shrine. They will take the Baltal and Pahalgam routes to reach the holy shrine, raising “Bam Bam Bhole” slogans along the way.
A pilgrim from Jharkhand said, “We feel proud to see how the Army jawans are helping the pilgrims here. We salute them for their service. The arrangements made for the Yatra are very good and I would urge everyone to take the Amarnath yatra.”
The pilgrims were excited to begin their journey and expressed their gratitude to the security forces for their help. They also praised the arrangements made for the Yatra, which they said were very good.
