The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday suspended Abdul Hafiz Shah, JKAS, Regional Director, Survey & Land Records, Anantnag, with immediate effect, pending an enquiry into his conduct.
The suspension order states that Mr. Shah is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect, in terms of Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
During the period of his suspension, Mr. Shah will remain attached to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
