Any Future Terror Act Will Be Considered ‘Act Of War’ Against India: Govt Sources

Top government sources stated on Saturday that any future act of terror in India will be considered an “act of war” against the nation and will be met with a corresponding response.

This decision by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to establish clear boundaries against terrorist incidents and underscores its resolve to take firm action against those responsible for and involved in plotting such attacks. This is widely interpreted as a message directed towards Pakistan, a country with reported connections to various terrorist organizations that have targeted India.

The decision is made against the backdrop of escalating tensions with Pakistan following the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, predominantly tourists.
