Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Manoj Pande visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri sector on Saturday and reviewed the operational preparedness and security situation.
He was received by General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, northern command Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi and other senior officers. The COAS was briefed about the operational preparedness by the commanders on the ground.
Pande appreciated the operational readiness and effective domination of the LoC. He also interacted with the troops and exhorted them for their continued professionalism and steadfastness in meeting the operational challenges.
