‘Attempts to weaken govt will fail’: Deputy CM J&K

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary addressed recent concerns regarding the stability of the elected government and the tragic deaths of missing persons in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Any attempts to destabilize the democratically elected government will ultimately fail. Divine protection is with us,” Choudhary stated in Srinagar.

He acknowledged the “unfortunate” deaths of individuals reported missing in Kathua and Kulgam districts. “These incidents are deeply regrettable and require thorough investigation. As the police operate under the Lieutenant Governor, he will be informed. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are peace-loving, and such events must not reoccur,” he emphasized.

Choudhary assured the public that the police would conduct a comprehensive investigation into these deaths. “The truth will be uncovered, and those responsible will face severe consequences. The government is committed to the safety and protection of its citizens. We will not tolerate such killings without decisive action. The current government, led by Omar Abdullah, is dedicated to the well-being of the people and will always stand by them.”
