A 71-year-old man, Abdul Karim, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a forest near his village of Tanda in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Monday. A 12-bore gun was recovered at the scene. The motive for the apparent suicide is under investigation.
