Clear Skies and Dry Spell Fuel Bitter Chill in Kashmir Valley

The weather in Kashmir was quite cold on Thursday due to clear night skies. Srinagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature of -5.2°C, while Gulmarg and Pahalgam were even colder at -12°C and -11.9°C, respectively.

Jammu city was milder at 3.6°C, while Katra, Batote, Bhaderwah, and Banihal all had minimum temperatures below freezing. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the dry weather will continue until February 14th.
