Chief Minister Omar Abdullah conveyed his best wishes to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir on the sacred observances of Shab-i-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida.
He emphasized the profound spiritual significance of Shab-i-Qadr, marking the revelation of the Holy Quran, and Jumat-ul-Vida, the final Friday of Ramadan, a day of immense importance for Muslims.
Abdullah encouraged citizens to dedicate these holy times to prayer, introspection, and seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and communal harmony.
“May these auspicious occasions bestow harmony, prosperity, and well-being upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Let us pray for peace, unity, and the advancement of our society, reinforcing the bonds of compassion and unity,” he stated.
The Chief Minister also appealed to the public to remember and assist the less fortunate, underscoring the values of benevolence and generosity central to the spirit of Ramadan.
He expressed his hope that the prayers and blessings of these holy occasions would inspire everyone to strive for a more equitable, inclusive, and peaceful society.
