In a major breakthrough, a Police Party of Police station Gandoh District Doda has arrested one most wanted absconder namely *Ghulam Qadir. S/O Maher Bakesh R/O Malath Tehsil Gandoh* involved in FIR No 57/2007 U/S 302,307 RPC 7/27 A.Act and (2).FIR No 103/2006 U/S 302,307 RPC 7/27 A. Act registered against him in P/S Gandoh but he was evading arrest since year 2006.
A team was constituted in PS Gandoh besides sources were generated and ultimately the team after getting human int. and technical assistance succeeded in arresting him from Punjab.
Mentionable here that the absconder is a *Surrender Militant* and was also declared as *Proclaimed offender* by the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Gandoh in the year 2023.He is involved in the killing of (1). Abdul Latief S/O Mohd Ibrahim R/O Champal Amraie Tehsil Chilly Pingal (2) Mohd Ishaq S/O Zahoor Din R/O Malath Tehsil Gandoh.
