Three residential houses were damaged in a pre-dawn fire incident in Barbarshah locality of Srinagar district on Sunday.
According to the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Department, the fire broke out at around 3:30 am. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after strenuous efforts.
However, due to the congestion in the area, two houses were substantially damaged, while another house received minor damage.
