Five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) have been promoted to Superintendents of Police (SPs) in Jammu and Kashmir, subject to any pending court cases.
The promoted officers are:
- Salim Jahangir Lone
- Showkat Ahmad Dar
- Manish Kumar Sharma
- Imtiaz Ahmad
- Farhan Jahanzeb Naqash
