Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced today that comprehensive security measures have been implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the annual Amarnath Yatra, set to begin on July 3.
Following a review of the arrangements in Baltal, LG Sinha informed reporters that both the Amarnath Shrine Board and the Jammu and Kashmir administration have significantly enhanced facilities for pilgrims.
He extended an invitation to all devotees to participate in large numbers, urging them to pray for the prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire nation.
“There is no cause for concern as the administration and security forces, including the Jammu and Kashmir police, Army, CRPF, CAPF, and other agencies, have put in place foolproof security arrangements for the seamless progression of the yatra,” he affirmed.
