A raging inferno consumed several houses and a furniture factory in Baramulla’s Kanli Bagh Baba Reshi Road on Sunday night, officials confirmed.
Alerted to the disaster, firefighters, police, and Army’s 46 RR raced to the scene. Their combined efforts eventually subdued the flames.
Earlier on Thursday, flames erupted in Handwara’s vegetable market within Kupwara district, North Kashmir, charring six shops, officials reported.
The morning blaze sent the market into disarray, causing significant damage to vendors’ property. Locals, police, and firefighters joined forces to extinguish the fire.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in either incident.
