Following a high-level security meeting in Kashmir yesterday, another meeting is being held in Jammu today to further evaluate the region’s security situation.
1 Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is chairing the meeting, which includes top officials from the police, army, CRPF, and other security agencies. 2 The agenda focuses on law and order, overall security, and infiltration along the Line of Control, among other key issues. This follows a similar security review meeting chaired by Lt Governor Sinha in Srinagar on Wednesday. These meetings come after a series of back-to-back security meetings held by Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi last week.
