Kulgam Police have taken strong action against terrorism by attaching a severely damaged two-story house under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) of 1967. The property, located in Modargam, Kulgam (Survey No. 214 Min), belongs to Safdar Ali Dar, son of Ali Mohd Dar, and was used by terrorists for shelter, lodging, and logistical support.
This attachment is connected to FIR No. 100/2024 at Kulgam Police Station. The process was carried out by a police team and an Executive Magistrate, ensuring adherence to legal procedures. The property is now officially seized, and any transfer, lease, disposal, or alteration is prohibited without authorization.
This action is a key development in the ongoing investigation of unlawful and subversive activities in the district. It demonstrates the Kulgam Police’s dedication to countering threats to national security, maintaining peace, and dismantling terrorist networks.
