Indian Army troops successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by heavily armed terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Barat-Gala area of the Keri sub-sector, Rajouri.
Official sources reported that alert Indian Army personnel intercepted the terrorists as they attempted to cross the LoC from AIOS at Barat-Gala. This led to a heavy exchange of fire, culminating in an encounter.
An extensive operation is currently underway in the area.
