Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir – A bus transporting Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel veered off the road and plunged into the Sindh river in the Kullan area of Ganderbal district on Wednesday. The incident, which occurred amidst heavy rainfall, saw a swift rescue operation that safely extracted all personnel on board.
Officials confirmed the accident, stating that while all ITBP personnel were successfully rescued, the exact number of individuals on the bus at the time of the incident was not immediately available. The bus driver sustained injuries and has been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
