In a major operation, security forces on Thursday successfully recovered a dangerous cache of explosives and ammunition in the Manjakote area of Rajouri district, potentially preventing a terror attack. The operation, led by the CRPF, yielded four tiffin IEDs, a wireless set, a tape recorder, and 23 rounds of AK ammunition.
Teams from the Jammu & Kashmir Police and the Bomb Disposal Squad promptly arrived at the scene to secure the area and initiate further investigation. The discovery of these potentially deadly materials underscores the ongoing threat posed by militants in the region and highlights the vigilance of security forces in safeguarding the local community.
