In a comprehensive meeting chaired by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Mr. Anand Jain, the current security and crime situation in the Jammu District was thoroughly examined. The meeting aimed to improve overall policing effectiveness and was attended by SSPs, SDPOs, and SHOs from various units within the district.
Accompanied by DIG JSK Range, Mr. Shakti Pathak, and welcomed by SSP Jammu, Dr. Vinod Kumar, the IGP scrutinized the disposal of cases registered in the current year and assessed the pendency from the previous years. He emphasized the need for expeditious handling of cases to reduce pendency and ensure efficient case management.
