Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his condolences for the victims of the boat capsizing tragedy in Srinagar.
He assured all possible support to the affected families.
“Deeply saddened by the loss of life due to the boat accident. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for strength during this difficult time. Rescue teams from SDRF, Army and others are actively involved in search and rescue operations,” Sinha’s office said in a social media post.
“The administration is providing all possible assistance to the families who lost loved ones, and ensuring medical care for the injured. Marcos teams are also on standby. I’m closely monitoring the situation and providing guidance to the rescue teams,” the statement added.
