A tragedy struck Srinagar this morning as a boat carrying minors and locals capsized in the Jhelum River near the Batwara area. Reports indicate at least four deaths, with three survivors currently receiving treatment at Srinagar’s SMHS hospital.
According to sources, the incident occurred early in the morning, leaving the area in a state of shock. Rescue efforts were swift, with seven people being transported to the hospital. Dr. Muzaffar Zargar, Medical Superintendent of SMHS, confirmed four fatalities and three ongoing treatments.
