The Jammu and Kashmir Government has transferred and appointed 24 law officers to various departments. This administrative reshuffle impacts departments including School Education, Urban Local Bodies, Finance, Jal Shakti, Transport, Revenue, and Forest. Additionally, several officers have been given extra responsibilities for litigation work across different directorates, engineering wings, municipal bodies, and district offices.
